The site in action
As the lead web designer for this digital publication, I led the creation of a comprehensive website designed to accommodate a large team of writers and numerous categories. Working closely with the founder, we crafted author profiles, implemented custom coding, and developed a system to keep the process cohesive and easy to navigate; both for the writers and the readers. We introduced unique 'ribbon' like motions to certain elements, adding a touch of fun and fluidity to the user experience. While developing multiple categories to organize various sections of articles, making the content easily navigable and enhancing the overall user experience.
My focus was on crafting a modern, clean design that truly highlights the exceptional writing and vision of our founder/editor and the rest of the team. Through thoughtful design choices and innovative features, I aimed to provide a platform that not only looks aesthetically pleasing but also aligns with the publication's mission to celebrate and center the female experience. This project was a rewarding opportunity to blend creativity with functionality, resulting in a website that both our team and readers can enjoy.
