About
Leslie Osornio is an oil painter and visual designer. Born and raised in Northeast Texas, Leslie has been on the move for the last few years.
She received a BFA in Communication Design and a BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in oil painting from Texas State University in 2020. Since then, she has lived and worked in Yellowstone National Park, traveled across Europe (twice), South Africa, Costa Rica and Mexico. She currently splits her year between Ireland and Texas.
Her art ranges from figurative works to abstract sculptural paintings, with a special interest in fabrics and textiles.
Leslie is also a visual designer. Specializing in web design but competent in branding, social media management, book design, and hand lettering/signage. Her interests in culture and travel greatly influence her work, taking in influence wherever she goes. Helping others travel and connect is one of her greatest goals. She especially wishes to inspire solo female travelers to create a community amongst themselves and get out in the world. Osornio is passionate about surfing, learning new skills, and volunteering. From helping women run art collectives in Austin to volunteering at dog hostels in Barcelona, helping and learning is a life long act and she shows no signs of slowing down.
